She doesn’t get replies on all of them, but she still works hard to start each email strong. Curtis says that, unless you can connect with your targets in the first three sentences, they won’t follow through and even bother reading the rest.
So, when you’re writing your own pitch emails, make sure you get to the point. Explain what’s unique about you and your client without fluffing or wasting anyone’s time.
